DFRobot x Intel Industry AI Developer Contest

The LattePanda has been in the news lately, between what it has proven it is capable of doing with object-recognition software and what solutions it has been able to offer businesses given its small form-factor. With the ongoing progress for this development board, DFRobot has assisted us in planning some events which will showcase the LattePanda and help all makers gather to share, experience, and learn more about what they can make with the LattePanda single board computer.

The DeltaPanda

In August of this year, DFRobot held its very own AI Developer Contest, where contestants could showcase what they could make with a DeltaPanda and an Intel Movidius Neural Compute Stick 2, all while using OpenVINO software. Many went on to develop and design object-recognition code projects which could recognize cars and license plates, among other things. The results of the contest more than proved the efficiency of the LattePanda Delta single board computer in its ability to run and operate such programs, with the Movidius Neural Compute Stick assisting it in its speed and providing additional computational power.
