LCD connector missing

Question

As a backer No. 128 I recently received LattePanda 64GB / 4GB.
Immediately I used it with HDMI interface and it worked very fine.
After summer vacation, on 22 august 2016, I needed to use LattePanda with LCD interface and I discovered that LCD connector on LattePanda PCB is missing (not mounted or detached), there are only soldered pins.
In attachment you can see this inconvenient.
In the meantime I ordered another board from DFRobot (Order ID: 69914) cause I need it urgently.
What I have to do with this missing connector? I can’t solder SMT connector.

looks like the clamp has broken off in transit. long shot - is it anywhere to be found in the packaging? if so it is possible to refit it. fiddly, but possible.
other solutions - perhaps you can source the part and have a hackerspace friend resolder it, or just transplant the clamp from the new part to the old part.

this connector is a 6pin fpc connector, 0.5mm pitch
