we are experimenting with torrent hosting files so we can offer alternatives to google drive for users who want to download images.
files such as the LP windows image are quite large files and google drive is not always an ideal solution.
torrent hosting seems like a viable solution for this.

it would be helpful for anyone who has time to try downloading the following experimental torrent.

it contains all lattepanda drivers in a .rar archive and is only 307mb
please post your results, and if you are successful downloading please seed :)

if this method is a benefit, we can host other system images using this method.

2016-11-17 15:29:50 I have updated the .rar archives to be split in to 4095 KB volumes so that they can be dropped and unrarred on to FAT32 drives (such as my home server where I will seed from). All other links will be broken now, please use these files.

Google Drive Archive:
Ultimately the purpose of torrent hosting is to provide an alternative to Google Drive downloads. However, we are seeding this from several locations and there seem to be some networking issues outside of the GFW. If you are unable to get seeds for the torrent, we would appreciate it if you could download the Google Drive archive containing all the files, and then seed directly if you are able. This will help other members of the community in future. When there are enough seeds the torrents should run stable for all. (Please note you will need all 3 parts of the archive for it to decompress successfully as it is split in to volumes).

hey, the download speeds are way to slow (20kB at max) and i often get a host error. any way you could upload them first so i could drop them into my torrent folder to seed them directly? strawberrymaker
