Stereo Output

I am having issues with the stereo output on the lattepanda. I have reinstalled the drivers and tried using the 1.1 driver as well. I plug in some speakers, test it out and the audio comes out from both speakers like its mono and not stereo. The settings show stereo when configuring the speaker, but it acts like its mono. Am I doing something wrong?
