Painfully slow ethernet

I finally have my 4GB/64GB board up and running and testing Kodi 17.6. I noticed that the ethernet/internet is painfully slow. In fact so slow that I am unable to stream video from my NAS or live TV with buffering.

Is there a setting to adjust or am I just unlucky and have a faulty board?

Please advise.
