Does anyone know how to re-enable the 7" monitor on the DSI-1 port under Ubuntu?

Recently, the 7 inch display connected to DSI-1 goes blank when ubuntu loads. This started happening after a recent update. When I connect a monitor to the HDMI port, bring up a terminal window and type uname -a, it displays the following:

Linux {host name} 4.15.0-23-generic #25-Ubuntu SMP Wed May 23 18:02:16 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

It was working prior to this update. The HDMI monitor is secondary, as it has no menu. I have to enter xrandr --output DSI-1 -off to make it primary, so the O/S knows the DSI-1 is there. Now, from the menu, if I select Preferences/Monitor Settings, it lists both HDMI-3 (turned on) and DSI-1 (turned off). I can check the 'Turn On' box for DSI-1 and apply it, but the 7" screen is still dark. If I restart the LattePanda without the HDMI monitor connected and press ESC when the LattePanda logo appears on the 7" screen, it enters the Aptio Setup Utility, so the 7" screen is working correctly.
