Incompatible Wireless Adapter after Windows 10 Update

Windows decided to update itself but stopped after more than an hour, with an incompatibility screen about the Broadcom 802.11 abgn Wireless SDIO Adapter: announcing "This device isn't compatible in Windows 10"; Contact the supplier ...
It was working just fine before the update! Where do I go from here? As a last resort, is it possible a Restore point was created before this update? Ideally I would want this update to work and not revert to an older version only to go through the Update Process again.
