Hi,

I just got my first Lattepanda and used it for 30 minutes before it suddenly died. Now it it only flash the Blue LED every 5 seconds.

I suspect there is an issue with the power circuit. When I start it the only thing that happens is that a tiny IC gets super toasty.
I used a thermal camera to measure it and it gets to nearly 160°C . The IC I am talking about (DDH 379) is near the 12VDC header.

So I did some measuring

Power connected and not turned on:
12V rail measured 0V
5V rail measured 5V
3.3V rail measured 3.3V
1.8V rail measured 1.8V

Power connected and turned on:
12V rail measured 0V
5V rail measured 0V
3.3V rail measured 2.7V
1.8V rail measured 0V

Looks to me like there is a problem with the power regulation on my Alpha. Or maybe the CPU is fried.
