AUDIO Driver refuses to install URGENT
Hey,
I'm having trouble installing the Realtek I2C Audio Codec/driver and can't get any microphones to work with the LP at all. USB or 3.5mm jack.
This is urgent as I need this to work for a final year University module for which the deadline is only a couple of weeks away.
Every time i install either through windows automatic online search or manually using the official 2G32GB_Drivers release. Including via cmd (administrator mode) it always fails to install saying that the driver 'is not intended for this platform'...
It shows up as Unknown device:
Capture.PNG (78.29 KiB) Viewed 1132 times
This is what i get with every method to install the driver
Capture1.PNG (117.55 KiB) Viewed 1132 times Capture4.PNG (44.77 KiB) Viewed 1132 times
Then once it's failed it get's moved to the Other devices section
Capture3.PNG (74.68 KiB) Viewed 1132 times
I'm at a loss for what to do... i don't even know if this will fix the issue with no microphones being recognised.
EDIT: Have managed to find a USB microphone that works with the LP. However I'd still like to rectify the driver situation and work out how i can use the 3.5mm jack as the microphone for that is much smaller and better for IoT implimentation.
Please help!
Thanks,
Simon
