LattePanda Alpha not powering up

My lattepanda alpha no longer powers up via the USB C port, i've tried different PD psu's also tried resetting by holding down the power button while plugged in and disconnected, but nothing works. I think it needs to be RMA'd please let me know how I can do this.
While looking into the issue I've noticed a lot of other users mention the same issue, is there a widespread problem with the lattepanda alpha?
I've posted the same message in the kickstarter comments section but haven't had a reply.
