Hi, dear forum members.

I recently bought a Lattepanda Alpha 864s. It worked perfectly and I`m very pleased with the product, but during my second project with it, I used a cheap DC/DC step-up converter to convert 7.2 volts to 12 volts to power The SBC. It was working normally but because the converter was cheap it malfunctioned(I still don't know why) and started giving 80+ volts instead of 12 and this SMD component blew(red circle in the right: see attached image) after that I tried using included power brick. The red light turned on and that was it. Then I tried powering it again but on a more stable system and made sure I was giving 12 volts but other SMD component blew again(red circle in the left: see attached image). And now when I use the included power brick the fan starts spinning and this SMD component is getting very hot(blue circle: see attached image).

I need to finish this project as fast as possible and I don't know what to do.

P.S I only used the type-c DC-in port Attachments 20191105_180723.jpg 20191105_180723.jpg (2.01 MiB) Viewed 8478 times
