Lattepanda V 1.0

Hi

I've recently inherited an V 1.0 Lattepanda. I like the computer so far.. I have one gripe.

I'm planning to use the computer as a music player however, I notice the the audio portion of the computer goes to sleep and when awakens it outputs a pop or two while outputting sound at the beginning.. it only happens when there's not any music being played but, it's enough to be bothersome over time.

Is there a fix since this unit's original release? Are the internal sound cards better in the Alpha and Delta editions?
