PWM fan noise

I'm trying to pwm check with Lattepanda Alpha 864s. I use pin number 6 for this. When I increase the speed with the analogWrite command, waird noises from the fan. I learned it was about frequency. There are libraries to change frequency, but does not compatible arduino leonardo. How can I change the frequency of pin number 6 for Arduino leoardo?
