LattePanda Delta 432 stuck on linux startup

Our company recently switched from the Alphas to Deltas for our product due to supply constraints. Unfortunately the delta pandas appear to get stuck during startup of Ubuntu (on the purple/black screen). If we hit the board reset button Ubuntu starts up normally however the next time it is fully powered down and then powered back up (Power disconnected then reconnected) the same problem emerges and is only temporarily remedied by using the reset button.

Any help would be much appreciated!
