Delta 432 RTC wake alarm

Been trying to use the built in RTC wake alarm on my Delta with no success. Anyone have any luck using this feature and pointers on what settings I need to change? Do I need to flash the EC using the procedure described in the "LattePanda Delta with Auto-power-on Feature" thread?
