Battery display in windows how?

I am using the Lattapanda Alpha 864s in a device that is powered by a battery and regulated to power the Alpha. I want to use windows battery status, but how can I get that battery voltage into the Alpha. I can make a voltage divider and feed that to the alpha but is there a way to do that?
