SD Card Not Recognized

Just tried to install a SanDisk Extreme Plus 256GB microSDXC card, but the Latte Panda V1 won't recognize it.  My laptop reads it fine, so I know the card is okay.  I also  updated all the Bios, etc. earlier this year on the Latte Panda, so I think my drivers are up to date.  Is there a separate update for this SD Card Issue?  I've seen a lot of posts about this being a problem.
