Getting other Linux Distributions to work

I am using the Latte panda 3 Delta. 

I am wondering if there are any useful information on which operating systems or what i need to do to get some operating systems working

Currently trying to get Slackware or any Slackware based distributions to work

Most of the time it just boots into a blank screen with a cursor (not blinking). 

On the next start up, it would just get stuck in the bios screen

Windows can be accessed by simply restarting, however the USB boot option will no longer appear until it is formatted again 

Any ideas to how this can be fixed?
