[Tutorial] Troubleshooting Cellular Connection Issues on LattePanda 3 Delta with a 4G Module
Introduction:
If you have connected a SIM7600G-H-M2 4G Communication Module to your LattePanda 3 Delta but the cellular connection remains disabled(as the picture below) and you cannot access the internet, follow this tutorial to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
Step 1: Verify 4G Module and SIM Card Installation
- Ensure that the 4G module is properly installed on your LattePanda 3 Delta. Refer to the module's installation guide for correct placement and secure connection.- Make sure the SIM card is correctly inserted into the 4G module's SIM card slot and has an active data plan.Step 2: Check Cellular Network Connection
- After enabling the cellular connection, verify that your device has successfully connected to the network.- If the status still shows 'Disabled,' proceed to the next step.Step 3: Update Drivers and Restart
- Download the attached windows driver of SIM7600G-H-M2 4G Communication Module.- Right-click on the 'Start' menu and select 'Device Manager.'- In the 'Device Manager' window, locate the 4G module and uninstall it.
- Right-click on the 4G module(in the “Unknown Devices”) and select ‘Update driver.’
- Choose the download driver and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.- Once the driver update is complete, restart your LattePanda 3 Delta and check the cellular connection status.
