Input power priority - any way to control?

Hello!

I am working on a project that will power my Sigma either via a battery (via USB-C) or via the barrel plug and included power supply.

I have seen an issue, though, which I'm hoping someone can help me with.  

What I've noticed is that if the battery is connected to the front USB-C port, the Sigma will pull power from it even if I have the power supply plugged in.  

Is there any way to change the behavior so the barrel plug / power supply is preferred if it's connected? 

What would be ideal is if the Sigma could pull power from the battery when the main barrel power supply is not connected, but pull from the power supply when it is connected (and charge the battery as well)
