LattePanda V1 Issues - Screen flickering & powering down by itself after 1-15 minutes

Dear Forum Users,

I'm reaching out with some issues we've been experiencing with a few of our LattePanda Alpha V1 units, two with 2GB RAM and one with 4GB RAM. These concerns arose after the devices had been working perfectly for several weeks or even months.

1.The first issue involves the touch screen. When we attempt to use it, the screen flickers as if the power is momentarily cut off.

         2. The second issue is a bit more unpredictable. Our 4GB RAM unit tends to power down at random times. This could happen just a few seconds after booting, or it might not occur until 15 minutes into operation. We've monitored resource usage, and the shutdowns don't appear to correlate with any significant CPU or RAM loads.

In our attempts to diagnose the issue, we've noticed a temperature spike in a sensor named “Acpitz,0”. This sensor occasionally hits 100C, as observed using s-tui on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.

Our current setup includes:

- A 7-inch Capacitive Touch Screen LCD (H) monitor, with 1024×600 resolution, HDMI, IPS, and support for various systems.
- The Operating System is Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
- The monitor is powered via a USB cable connected to the SBC.

We'd appreciate any insights or advice on what we could check next to resolve these issues.

Thank you for your time,

Chris
