LattePanda Alpha power issues

I’m having trouble getting my new LP alpha to turn on. By the look of things in the troubleshooting section of their official message board, I’m not the only one having issues powering their board. I’m hoping by posting in multiple places, this issue can be seen, and hopefully be resolved.
