Multiple OS Support

I have windows installed on the SSD supplied.

I want to install Ubuntu on a second SSD are there instructions on how to do this?

When installed how do I get a dual OS option screen at bootup such that I can chose which OS to use or can I only do this if any second OS is installed on the same SSD as windows?
