RS232/485 Lattepanda Sigma board with Python

Good day to everyone

Anybody have ever used RS232/485 specific connector with Lattepanda Sigma? 

How I can activate it?

Or, Is possible to use RS485 in alternative way?

I need to use it with python to control some external components.

I tried to find this topic into this Forum, but I didn't find anything.
