WiFi hotspot problems and random reboots

Hello,

we have several LattePandas V1 4GB/64GB + Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB (+ Dec2024 Windows updates). We have USB camera and their software running for several days without any problem. However, when we enable WiFi hotspot random issues starts appearing even when camera is disconnected and no other software is running.

a) WiFi randomly completely hangs, i.e. hotspot stops working and opening Windows WiFi settings is not possible - the dialog freezes forever. Only manual reboot fixes this issue.

b) LattePanda randomly reboots after a few hours. At first, we thought this is a power source issue but... We use the official RPi microUSB power source 5V/2.5A and LattePanda works correctly for days even with very performance-intensive tasks when the hotspot is NOT enabled. When the WiFi hotspot is enabled it randomly reboots even when no other task is running. We also tried to power the Panda directly through the CN2 pins with external power source (5.1V/5A) and problem still appears.

The Windows Event log contains only an information "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.". No other problem (BSOD etc.) is reported.

We currently tested 2 Pandas and the problems appear on both.

Could there be some WiFi driver problem? Is there a need for some special WiFi driver to replace the Windows default driver?

Thank you for any help.
