  • You Reply: Nice Write up!!!

I'm currently running Mac OS on my Alpha 800 using a USB 3 SSD Drive. Want to install Windows with a ISO or CD since Lattepanda ISO Download is broken up. Wanted to know if you used the normal Windows ISO to install and if anything is not working (wifi, Bluetooth, etc)?
  • You Reply: Did you Press 'Esc' continously to enter BIOS. Then navigate to the "Boot" tab and change the "Boot Option Priorities" so that the USB drive is "Boot Option #1".
  • You Reply: When I tried the image only gave an error message.

Looks like the Build-in Shell access came up. Check in the BIOS to make sure your boot order is for the Windows Harddrive. I have Mac OS installed on my Alpha 800 using a USB 3 SSD Drive. Speeds seem good to me so far. Hope you get yours working correctly. Want to install Windows on mines to do Dual Boot but Lattepanda Windows ISO File is messed up.

Thanks for the insight rickey318! I'll look into that. Are you saying the windows image you can download from lattepanda is no good. That was my next order of buisnisses to download that and reinstall windows in the BIOS.

  • You Reply: @djawho,

Are you sure that is not just a 2.4 wireless keyboard since it came with a dongle?
  • You Reply: Are you just pressing the power button or holding it from a few till the light comes on stable? Holding the power button for a few is normally how I start both the 1st Lattepanda and the Lattepanda Alpha.
  • You Reply: @richC,

Did you just use a normal Windows 10 Pro ISO or the one they provided in the Docs? Trying to found the correct one as I was only able to install the Ubuntu from the Docs. Their Windows Download give an error to me. Want to know before I just install with a normal Windows 10 ISO.
  • You Reply: Hello,

I'm not sure if your question has be fix yet. But, I do not believe you will be able to access the BIOS with a Bluetooth Keyboard on start. You should be able to found a cheap usb keyboard to use for accessing the BIOS.
  • You Reply: I agree the Lattepanda Window 10 ISO in the Docs does not work. Installed on a usb and put in my alpha 800 and it gives a error to install a Recover Disc for Windows 10. The Ubuntu ISO worked on a USB even though I only ran the Test without installment of it. But, Wifi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and etc seem to work on it. The Windows 10 ISO needs fixing or at least the drivers.
  • You Reply: Hello voileu,

I'm a backer of the new Alpha on Indiegogo and I'm in the same boat as you. Waiting and Waiting with only replies like they have been ship but I'm unable to track it and have not seen a package yet. I was really surprised when I seen their ad for it on Youtube and selling in amazon. Hopefully they get it together soon as this looks bad that backers don't have their board but they have started selling eleswhere.
  • You Reply: Hello Aj-mv,

Happy to hear you have your LP Alpha 800. I had to upgrade from the delta to the alpha on Indiegogo so hope to have my Alpha 800 too. I do have the first LP and I believe you should be able to install the normal copy of windows 10 just like you would do with a normal computer. Good Luck
  • You Reply: Check your Power Supply as I had the same problem while using the wrong power supply,

  • You Reply: You must go under sound device management and turn off the HDMI sound and enable the port.
  • You Reply: I would try another power adapter. I had a problem where only my USB 3 port was working but not the USB 2 ports. Tried a different power adapter with a higher output and that fix my problem.
  • Topic: RDP?
You Reply: I just noticed that yesterday on my LP. But, I had already start using Teamviewer on it. Works great with no problems.
  • You Reply: I think it's a arduino reset button. Cause I seen it say that somewhere.
