Did you flash the x64 version of bios? Or how did you manage to install and run Windows x64 on it? -
You Reply: Finally! It worked! It seems that the problem was the USB stick. I exchanged it with a new one and it worked like a charm.
Thanks for the help!

You Reply: Yes, I used the x86 BIOS and the x86 Windows archive, because I have the 32 GB version of Lattepanda. Regarding this, is it possible to put the x64 BIOS and Windows on the 32GB version of Latte? From what I saw the processor is the same..

You Reply: Hello,
I have a similar problem, I followed aziel's method and I reached step 5, but here the console returns an error message: "Virtual Disk Service error: The operation is not supported on removable media." From the fist look the script is trying to use DISKPART to create a separate partition, but it cannot do this on my USB stick.
Is this problem because I am using an USB stick instead of an USB HDD?
Here is a photo of the screen with the message (sorry for the bad image).

You Reply: Hello,
I experience the same issues as you have, and I have some piece of advice:
1) regarding the USB booting problem, depending on your lattepanda, 32GB or 64GB, you will need to install an x86 or x64 only OS. So for lattepanda 32GB you need to install Windowx x86 only. You can create a bootable USB stick with rufus, but be careful that you will not have any drivers after that (this is where I am currently stuck too )
2) regarding the WIFI signal, make sure you install correctly the WIFI antenna. With that connector it is very easy to install it incorrectly and not have a perfect connection.
3)regarding the performance, it is mainly influenced by the temperature, I noticed that the panda is running in idle at around 80 degrees, and at ~90 it will enter into thermo-throttling which will reduce the CPU speed dramatically so it can cool down, it can even reach around 200MHz. I installed an motherboard radiator at the back of the board and now it stays between 55 and 70 degrees, much more better.
I hope this helps.

You Reply: I have the same problem. I need to install Windows x64 on 32GB Lattepanda because it is required by the Kinect V2 drivers. Did anyone found a solution to this, or at least some info?

You Reply: I also have the same problem. I noticed that if I create the bootable stick with diskpart from windows, it is recognized as a bootable device when I press F7, but it still doesn't boot from it. Is it something in the UEFI bios that I have to configure?
