    I also had the problem mentioned in this thread. I also tinkered with the BIOS, but I didn't reflash it. I just reset it to default settings and downloaded the recover files from the LP website. There is a problem with this file when you proceed like they told on their website. Unpacking the rar-file to a USB-stick as mentioned makes a directory with other subdirectories on the stick and your bootmanager of your LP can't find the necessary files. You have to move all files and subdirectories to the root level of the stick. There must be those files: BOOTEX, bootmgr.efi and winpart. When the bootloader finds them it rewrites the OS on the drive and your LP starts in sysprep mode. Just accept the popped up window and the OS is set up from scratch and Windows re-activated.

    My LP works fine since then.
