You Reply: I like the 7" size, but wanted higher resolution.
1024x768 is way to low for most Windows applications, so I would like a 1920x1200 touch screen, it can be 7" or slightly larger but not to much, at most 10".
My plan is to use it as a centerpiece for home automation, and would like to have multiple informations on the screen at once So that at a quick glance be able to take in multiple informations at once. For example a graph with power consumption, and overview of things that are on in the house, some quick toggles, weather and so on.

You Reply: I'm not sure actually what kind of screen it is, I tried to connect the cable to the port on the Pi, but nothing happened, and when I had both connected it only showed on the screen that connected on HDMI.
So I opened it up again and took a picture of the controller board.

And I can see already now that it is certainly not the same connector, But I suppose if I could find a LCD controller for the LP screen that has an HDMI input then it could work, but what should I look for? -
You Reply: I got the 7" IPS screen and touch overlay. (By mistake I actually ordered an extra since I missed it was included in my package)
Although it is a very nice screen, with awesome viewing angle, it is only 1024x768 resolution... So I was wondering if there are any other touch screens with similar quality that I could connect that has higher resolution?

You Reply: So been running it for a few hours, ambient temperature 27C, It seems stuck on 480MHz.
Tried to reboot, but it won't go up.
So I shut it down, and after an hour, I turned it back on.
Now it runs at 1840MHz, but quickly drops, and after just 10 minutes i'm again stuck on 480Mhz.
I'm using the acrylic case.
I have seen a few people adding cooling, is that really needed?

Try a different power supply, I thought it was a heating issue, but after running it off a Power Bank that could deliver higher amps, It stopped doing it. I have ordered a 5.1V 2.5A Raspberry Pi 3 power supply.
