I've tested voltage in secure environment, and there is a short-circuit between the 5V and ground. So one component must have fried and linked the two circuits. I can safely state that the board is dead...
I'd like to RMA the board with the screens if that would work for you.

I have been very busy with my work so it took some time to get back to you, and I apologize for that.
I've tried mailing again at techsupport@lattepanda.com with no success.
This issue is really annoying as I've been trying to use your board ASAP by kickstarting your project (which I still find awesome) but had an almost DOA and no solution for 5 months now...
What else can I do from there?
I truly look forward to reslving this problem, as my expectations for your product are huge.

I haven't received any mails from you, but from DFRobot that my order in on the way.
I'm guessing this comes from you though. I'll try later today to send a mail at techsupport@lattepanda.com .

There is no burn smell, and there are no trace of damage on the board.
But I also believe that the board is dead.
I've already tried mailing techsupport@lattepanda.com but this address either doesn't exist or was not properly configured. I only receive failure to transmit messages.
I also tried sending mails to the other addresses, but they haven't responded yet.
I'm hoping to attract their attention on the forum...
This is very frustrating... Especially since the LP is so promising and I can't try it!
Anyways, I'm looking forward to reading an answer from LP team.
