The Latte Panda fan is nice and if you have the wooden case you can use it with a small modification.
    Take a look her viewtopic.php?f=6&t=270#p1676
  • You Reply: Moin Moin,
The LattePanda Needs about 1.6 Ah at boot. A 1Ah adapter is too week.
Try the AUKEY Quick Charge 3.0 USB Ladegerät 19.5W or any other power supply that is named by LattePanda team. The power supply should be able to deliver 2Ah minimum. With a 2 Ah it could be useful to have an active USB hub to lower the currency.

My Touchscreen had the same problem and it is demaged.
After connecting another touchscreen all was ok.
And the defect touchscreen is not working on a system with a working touch.

i have also added this link to the resource list

unfortunately theyre not low profile enough to fit comfortably in the case, unless you hack a section out of it. we are working on a redesign of the case to accomodate for this.

before we got these i basically just had my engineering prototype unit stood off the ground on some m3 screws. i then got a 50mm 5v fan connected to cn2 header pins blowing on the underside, where the cpu is located. the fan is mounted on one of these "leg" screws. not exactly an elegant solution, but its been left on day and night and hasnt died yet. the fan actually stays on as long as power is connected, even if the board hasnt booted!

    cheers.
    Moin Moin,
the fan works very nice, and keep the system nice cool. So that you can operate at full load with out to clock down the cpu.
With the plywood you can cut out the plywood to get space for the fan.
The Feeds in the corner will give the needed space... IMG_1015-4n.jpg IMG_1015-4n.jpg (157.05 KiB) Viewed 7844 times IMG_1014.jpg IMG_1014.jpg (206.33 KiB) Viewed 7844 times Capture.jpg Capture.jpg (214.11 KiB) Viewed 7844 times

At this point Im pretty upset with no luck on how to get this up and running properly. Any insight of how to solve this issue would be GREATLY appreciated, Thank you for your time.
    Moin Moin mbar6313,
Take a look at this link. Use only the drivers from this side.
I always have luck with removing the device from device manager including remove device files. Than do a reinstall of the WiFi driver. And do a reboot.

Some people like to have the local version of windows 10.installed on the lattepanda.
And if you read in the forum you cold see that some people have problems to install windows 10 new.
If you dont want to do it why are you reading this?

Looks like you could plug 5v directly into the cn2 jumpers on the motherboard to supply power to the system?
Without a Board Schematic, I am unwilling to try it! Hopefully one of the developers of the board can answer this question. It would be easy to get more amperage to the board thru this connector vs the micro USB.

    Thanks,

    Yes powering over CN2 works.

Relampago wrote:I want to legt you guys now, that it is possible to power lattepanda through any 5v connector.

I am now using a non USB 5,2 3A power supply to power lattepanda on connector 6.

In addition I did some current measurements.

    Boot: round about 1A
    Windows usage: 1.2A

Furmark: At start 2.8A than 1.9A

    Cs go: 2.1A

    GPU-z Test: 2.1A

As a side note, with a 2A USB power apply, the lattepanda shutdown when I was starting furmark. Starting gpuz test with 2A power supply let to a throttling of all cores to 480 MHz. There seems to be a low current mechanism in the atom.
You are using the connector #6 for A2 port...?
Hmm if I Remember right the max load is 40mAh for this port...

There must be 43 Directorys and 4 Files if you use the x86 image.
And 44 Directorys and 3 files if u use the x64 image.
Check the space of your USB Stick mybe the stick is to small.
Turn off any virus scanner there is a file on the stick that could cause a fail alert. Could that the virus scanner cancel the copy process.

We've packaged the official drivers for LattePanda . Just really need more user feedback for if it works fine.

    Please download the drivers here:

Please comments about if it works for you after downloading and installing the driver package. Thank you so much for your support. Once everything works, we will open the driver package directly on our Github.
Hello, I have also installed a clean Windows 10 from Microsoft after Bootloop. This Package worked fine for nearly all driver. Only the Broadcom Wireless Adapter isn't working. He has the Code 10 Error.
    Moin Moin Surox,
go to device manager and delete the broadcom Wlan driver with packed remove (2nd window).
Than open the bcmdhd64.inf file (in the WiFi dir) with right mouse key and install. Then do the same with bcmfn2.inf. Work with my 3 LattePanda fine.

If you have trouble go to device manager -> Storage controllers and remove all SD Storage Class Controller (just use del-key).
The system will reboot. After reboot the SD Storage Class Controller should be automatic reinstalled.
    Go to the device manager
Under storage controllers you see a SD storage with a !
Use right mouse key and choose "update driver software"
Than choose browse my computer for driver software"
Choose "let me pic from list of..."
Took the SD Storage class controller from the window and press next
    That's all...
