lukepaluso wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2020 6:56 pm Hello everyone! I tried following the instructions listed at this link http://docs.lattepanda.com/content/1st_edition/os/.

It's possible that I may have misunderstood some of the technical jargon. I formatted my USB to FAT 32, renamed it to WINPE and extracted the correct files to it. After attempting to boot my LattePanda using the USB drive, I simply get a blue screen, stating that windows need to be repaired. Error code is something like ....000359.

Attempting to install/repair Windows using the official Windows 10 USB installation media has also proved fruitless.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
Hi, @lukepaluso, I looked up the error that you faced using the portion of the error code number you gave. Did your screen look like this?
Recovery.PNG Recovery.PNG (106.11 KiB) Viewed 975 times If this is the error you faced while re-installing a Windows 10 Home OS for the 1st generation LP, you might want to check a couple different things:

    1) Is the version of Windows 10 Home edition that you have on your USB drive the corresponding version that your particular model of 1st gen LP SBC is able to install? If you can't find the model of your LP, please let me know.
(When checking the model number, you can compare it against the model number in their example. This one's a CR110-Z8350 *2GB + 32GB*: Model Number.PNG Model Number.PNG (32.04 KiB) Viewed 975 times )

    2) Did you reformat your USB to FAT32? There are quite a few steps involved in perfecting your bootable USB drive, including clearing the contents of the USB drive, reformatting it to FAT32 (which I seem to recall is a little bit harder to do with 64GB or higher USB drives) and renaming the drive to "WINPE", formatting the USB drive to be a bootable device, and then placing the right disc image file from the correct download link into the USB drive.

For information on how to reformat the USB drive to FAT32 and renaming the drive as it would appear on any device:

For information on how to use the USB drive to create a bootable device:

Otherwise, I remember a couple other members of the LP community recommending these websites should the problem be too difficult to diagnose and persists even when you start the whole process over from scratch:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/window ... MK_Restore
(and if all else truly fails, you may be able to use a combination of the lengthy solutions listed in this website below and the OS which you downloaded on the LP website)

I hope this helps! Please post any updates if you have any other information that helps to diagnose the problem. I'll also try to remember to post if I experience any problems trying to reinstall Windows 10 Home edition on my CR200 Z8350 1st gen LP SBC.
