I just realised that the Serial Number has to be on the LattePanda physically. So after disassembling my project, I found it on the board.

    Thank you,

    You Reply: Hi,

I'm not sure how or where to get the serial number. The only tutorials were for the Windows platform. I'm on UBUNTU. I tried to find it in BIOS but with no luck at all.

UPDATE: I found something using the dmidecode command. The only problem is that the value of Serial Number is "Default string".
I think it might have something to do with the fact that I experienced problems when I tried to update BIOS for the first time. As I was updating to BIOS version "CDJQ-BS-7-S70KR300-KF65A-101-J" (for the AutoPower ON feature), my Alpha started looping while booting and it was basically dead.So I had to update it the hard way. The only way to resurrect my LattePanda was to use the CH341A programmer and I think that might just caused the loss of the Serial Number.
Is there any way to resolve this issue? Or can I somewhere find the serial number physically?
The only thing I can give you is it's UUID: 03000200-0400-0500-0006-000700080009
My version of UBUNTU is 20.4.

    Thank you,

After installing Win 10 Pro, I can't activated It.
I didn't have the key license but i have a Windows 10 activated on the emmc.
How to reinstall and install Win 10 and activate it when I have a win 10 on the emmc ?
I have the lattePanda 864s with Win10 Activated
Hi , when did you purchase the LattePanda Alpha? is it unable to activate out of box?
I have bought it 2 weeks ago.
The Win10 on emmc is activated but i want to install Win10 on a SSD, i did it but Win 10 Pro can not be activated.
When I try Produkey (on the Win 10 installed on emmc) ti catch the license code, it didn't find the OEM license
How can I install an activated Win10 on sdd ?????

  • You Reply: Tried all other images for 2G/32G CR200/Z850 and none of them worked. Most would not boot but one produced an error at the windows installation screen; never progressed beyond that.

Using the Win 10 media creation tool creates a usable installer but there doesn't seem to be a way to install audio drivers after windows is successfully installed ‍♂️

This Enterprise edition installer worked but I don't have a license.

Enterprise seems to run faster and I am guessing that is because it is a more streamlined OS.
  • You Reply: do you mean you want to run operating system in your USB drive via USB port? sorry LattePanda doesn't support to boot into OS via USB. if you are using LattePanda delta or alpha, you can install dual OS.
  • You Reply: Same problem, trying to install ubuntu 16.04 , but The display was very flaky (the mouse cursor was jumpy, and the display was leaving artifacts behind)

Plus I am trying to instal Tp Link wireless Archer T2U Plus but Could not find any tutorial on google

    eFuitX64.efi
    FEC64.NSH
    S70KR310A-V9-poweron.bin

Is the process the same as the above or is there a different step.
Also does this work with the USB-C board power or just from the 12v dc board input?

This is critical to the success of my project any help appreciated.
The update process of KR310 version is same as older versions.
the auto-power-on file works with both USB-C board power and the 12v dc board power input.
In the instruction in this ReadMe file is different, where in the folder of KR310 just have one .bin file and gives error when you run first command

    Code: Select all

eFuitX64,efi S70KB310A-auto-poweron.bin /p /b /n Error: unrecognize parameter /p . Aborting. There is open issue on Github for this problem, thanks in advance for help here.

What is the repair they do on your motherboard?
I think they replaced the USB port but I’m not 100% sure

You Reply: Hi thanks for your reply, getting a video of it will be hard since it isn't very predictable when it happens.
When it's frozen the screen does still work and will not go on standby but nothing changes on screen.
If by update you mean windows update we already do update it at night.
At the point of a freeze I can't reopen the event viewer unfortunately.
Yes it's very strange, it should indeed still post some events, but it doesn't if its frozen. This to me suggests that the system is frozen on a (close to) hardware level.

P.S., always watch out for if sufficient current can be supplied thru those thin cables/sockets, etc.
Will sure do, thanks for the information.

M.2 key-E (NGFF M.2 gen 1) has a completely different electrical connection arrangement than key-B+M.

One alternative to to get a M.2 key-E to full-sized PICe adapter card to expose the PCIe signals, then use a regular Blackmagic card to plug into its PCIe slot.
Thanks for that, I did suspect that it might have to be an adapter to solve it.

You Reply: I have a new update to make spike and robust the lattepanda. I was using the CN2 port is ok but I had one or another turn off including with the strong power supply. Just when I watched movies and did heavy operations at same time. It was a turn off occasionally very rare almost not notable like I said in previous post.

Now to totally eradicate the turns off I bought an original Apple charger of 96 Watts for the macbook and a USB-C Passive 40Gbps cable with 2.3 ft and now is more solid than anything and I don’t need to use the CN2 port. Definitely, I will stay with this. I use Jdownloader at high bandwidth downloading, watch videos, use other apps for heavy strong CPU usage all at same time and nothing. I don’t have a turn off in a month.
